I have worked as a baker, chef, and kitchen manager in the non-profit food industry, serving people that I know and love; I have had the pleasure of utilizing fresh and local ingredients, and continue to search out the best sources of ingredients in Chicago. I have learned quite a bit about event planning and catering on the job, and enjoy serving both elegant and simple occasions for friends and soon-to-be friends. I enjoy the ways that food brings people together, and connects us to the complex world around us. So much can be gleaned from a person or culture through culinary education and the common experience of table fellowship. I am currently exploring ways that I can share my passions for food with others, be that as a chef, educator, or hostess. I look forward to hearing from you!
